Job summary

Amity Foundation seeks a Supervising Counselor to oversee face-to-face rehabilitative programming in the ISUDTP. You will supervise about six AOD Counseling/Peer Navigator staff, track performance, and ensure staff maintain AOD certification, while coordinating orientation and intake for new participants within an incarcerated setting.

Required: AOD Counselor certification with a recognized DHCS organization and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor with a DHCS-approved organization.
• Minimum 2 years of certified AOD counseling experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise approximately six AOD staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and training.
• Monitor Contractor staff performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Assess and monitor staff progress toward AOD certification.
• Oversee orientation and intake for new participants.
