Job summary

Centurion Selection seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead all construction efforts on a 35-story downtown Miami condo project valued at $200 million, with ground breaking imminent.

You will plan schedules, coordinate with PMs, subs, and vendors, enforce safety, drive quality, and resolve field challenges to keep the project on track.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CM/Eng or related field and 10–15 years in high-rise construction, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Job description

The Senior Superintendent will manage all aspects of construction for a 35-story condo project in downtown Miami valued at $200 million, which is due to break ground shortly.

Project Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement detailed project schedules, including sequencing of work, resource allocation, and milestone deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Anticipate and proactively address potential scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects on track.

Site Management:

• Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, material handling, and equipment usage.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks at various stages of construction to identify and address any deficiencies or issues.
• Work closely with project managers and design teams to resolve construction-related challenges and ensure adherence to project plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in high-rise multifamily, condo, or hotel construction, with a proven track record of successful project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials relevant to multifamily residential projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
