Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Superintendent to lead healthcare and complex commercial projects. The initial assignment is a $200M ground-up behavioral health facility in Dayton, with ~18 months remaining, followed by Columbus-based work.

You will coordinate field operations, manage schedules with an MEP team, and drive safety and quality across sites as you advance a long-term Ohio career.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of construction experience leading field operations for a GC
• Senior Superintendent level experience or ready to step up
• Healthcare, hospital, airport, or large commercial project experience
• Ground-up hospital experience ~ $200M is a strong plus
• Proven ability to lead field teams, coordinate trades, drive schedules
• Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Long-term commitment to Ohio and Columbus region work

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and coordinate construction activities through project completion.
• Provide direction to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Manage jobsite logistics, trade sequencing, and milestone schedules.
• Lead daily field meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Work with MEP team to align building systems with the schedule.
• Anticipate field challenges, resolve issues, keep work moving.
• Maintain high safety, quality, and accountability standards.
• Partner with PMs, owners, and design teams for project success
