We are seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead mission-critical construction projects in the Northern Virginia market, with a focus on Day 2 data center work within active operating environments. Description

The Senior Superintendent | Data Center Construction | NoVA will:

• Lead all on-site construction activities from planning through project completion.
• Oversee subcontractors, project schedules, safety compliance, quality standards, and daily field operations.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, design teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage work within active mission-critical facilities while minimizing operational disruptions.
• Drive schedule performance, field productivity, and project execution strategies.
• Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections to maintain project milestones.
• Champion an industry-leading safety culture across all jobsite activities.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, and company standards.
• Support project turnover, commissioning activities, and closeout procedures.
• Participate in future assignments as projects evolve, with opportunities for regional or nationwide travel.

Profile

The Senior Superintendent | Data Center Construction | NoVA will have:

• Superintendent experience managing large commercial or mission-critical construction projects.
• Experience working within live operating environments, particularly Day 2 data center, retrofit, upgrade, or modernization projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct subcontractors and field teams.
• Proven success delivering projects on schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
• Experience with complex MEP systems is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel or relocate between project assignments as needed.
• Data center construction experience is highly desired; ground-up experience is not required for this specific role.
• Stable work history and demonstrated success leading field operations.
