Tiello is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial masonry projects in the Birmingham, AL area. The role requires hands-on leadership, deep masonry knowledge, and close coordination with PMs, safety, and subcontractors to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The position involves guiding crews, planning sequencing, and ensuring work complies with plans and OSHA standards while driving safety and productivity on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of field leadership experience in commercial masonry construction.
• Strong knowledge of masonry means, methods, sequencing, and production.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience leading large crews and managing multiple scopes simultaneously.
• Willingness to travel within the Central Florida region as needed.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial masonry projects.
• Manage and coordinate masonry crews, foremen, and superintendents.
• Plan and execute project schedules, sequencing, and manpower loading.
• Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers on budgets, schedules, and scope execution.
• Conduct site meetings, progress updates, and coordination with other trades.
• Monitor quality control and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Mentor and develop field leadership, including foremen and assistant superintendents.
