Responsibilities

• Overseeing all phases of project construction from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety regulations.
• Reviewing and understanding all contract documents, plans, specifications, and applicable codes for each project.
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Identifying potential issues or delays and implementing solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project schedules.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or construction issues.
• Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to maintain strong relationships and ensure project success.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the areas of hospitals, MOBs, warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics parks.
• A comprehensive understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all project stakeholders.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification in construction safety and project management will be an added advantage.
