Job summary

xLight Inc. is seeking a Superconducting RF Scientist to lead production and testing of superconducting RF cavities. You will manage all aspects of the production process, drive process optimization, and implement quality assurance measures.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with superconducting RF technology and a proven track record in large-scale cryomodule production. Remote or hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in superconducting RF research, development, and production.
• Proven track record of success with large scale cryomodule production.
• Experience as a Control Account Manager for large scale DOE projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the production process for superconducting RF cavities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the cryomodule production system.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure reliability of superconducting RF cryomodules.
• Maintain documentation of production procedures and test results.
• Collaborate with teams and external partners to ensure alignment throughout the production process.
