Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a SUE Technician III to join our SUE Services team in New England. The role involves designation of utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical methods, field supervision, and collaboration with project managers.

Requirements include 5+ years of EM/geophysical experience and ability to travel. Competitive benefits and a strong focus on safety and quality are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience using electromagnetic and geophysical designation technologies.
• Experience with vacuum excavation preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and collaborate on utility records, drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings and highway design plans.
• Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies.
• Supervise field crew activities and train junior crew members.
• Represent the company in the field and coordinate with utility companies and clients.
• Coordinate survey work in relation with SUE and project needs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Discipline Leads on requirements.
