Calix Job Opportunity: Go-to-Market Success Engagement Manager

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems, and services essential for communications service providers to simplify their operations, excite their subscribers, and enhance their value.

This is a remote position based in the United States.

We are seeking a Go-to-Market (GTM) Success Engagement Manager (SEM) to join our team, primarily supporting enterprise-level broadband service providers (BSPs). The GTM SEM will engage with Tier 2 & Tier 1 BSPs and their sales and success management teams to deliver GTM domain expertise. The role involves evolving, creating, and updating programs, content, and delivery methods to help BSPs align better, adopt industry best practices, and focus more on the subscriber experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in the Tier 2 or Tier 1 broadband space and understand the complexities of large broadband operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Consult with BSP customers to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, leveraging data to guide conversations and processes.
  • Assist customers in realizing value from their investments with Calix and drive subscriber adoption of Calix managed services offerings.
  • Guide GTM strategies and best practices, including developing value-based service offerings that encompass managed services.
  • Provide consultative guidance on GTM objectives, including modifications to and enhancements of customer business goals.

In collaboration with other Calix teams:

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Services, Success, and Sales to create multi-dimensional solutions delivering exceptional value to broadband providers and their communities.
  • Identify opportunities within accounts for additional Calix solutions.
  • Guide BSPs to data sources (both Calix-provided and external) to facilitate their adoption of best practices.
  • Assist customers in identifying and tracking key business metrics (KPIs) and developing plans to meet those objectives over time and across departments.
  • Gather feedback on Calix GTM strategies and products/services for continuous improvement.
  • Effectively communicate and disseminate self-service assets for customer use.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in developing and executing GTM campaigns, with a consultative and prescriptive approach, understanding ROI measurement and analysis, and leveraging data for targeted marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience with Tier 2 or Tier 1 broadband service providers, or as a related consultant/support resource.
  • Experience in B2C, B2B, and B2B2C marketing.
  • Preferred: Experience leading or collaborating with marketing teams in SaaS, Telecommunications, or Broadband industries.
  • Ability to navigate complex business structures and align with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand technical aspects of Calix solutions and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation skills with executive presence.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, think strategically, and execute tactically while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Future travel less than 30%; must have a valid driver’s license.

  • San Francisco Bay Area: $140,300 - $210,500 annually
  • Major Cities (including CA, CO, NY): $122,000 - $183,000 annually
  • Regional plus NY: $109,800 - $164,700 annually
