Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Superintendent for substations to lead site activities in the Permian Basin, Odessa, TX. You will direct multiple crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant execution of complex transmission projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years supervisory experience in HV (34.5kV+) substation space.
Thorough knowledge of construction methods, contracts and safety standards.
Must have a valid driver’s license; willing to stay out of town; CPR/First Aid may be required.
Ability to walk on uneven terrain, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and foster a strong safety culture on site.
Direct multiple crews and coordinate subcontractors across projects.
Prepare and manage schedules, resource estimates, outages, investigations, inspections and reports.
Review drawings, contracts, SOWs and ensure proper grounding procedures are followed.
Attend required project meetings with owner and update schedules and progress.
Monitor cost progress and overall project performance.
