WSP Global Inc. in Billings, MT is seeking a Senior Level Substation Structural Engineer to lead a team in electrical substation structural design, including foundations, structures, rigid bus, and control buildings.

Under minimal supervision, you will develop construction specifications, cost estimates, engineering proposals, and project schedules, coordinating with multiple disciplines and providing field support. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• BSCE from ABET accredited college.
• 5–7 years post-education experience in structural design.
• PE exam completed.
• Advanced knowledge of building codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC, IEEE).
• Travel as needed.
• Strong English communication.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineers, designers, and drafters in substation structural design.
• Develop calculation packages to satisfy client, code, and company requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines on results.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs.
• Develop construction specifications, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Occasional travel may be required.
