Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with emphasis on substation protective relaying.
• P.E. is required for this role.
• PMP strongly preferred.
• Experience with relay replacements/retrofits and new installations.
• Mentoring and budget/schedule monitoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering for substation relay protection packages, including single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Review and approve protection packages with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and develop entry to mid-level protection engineers and designers.
• Monitor budgets and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Perform site walkdowns to support design and construction phases.
