Job summary

Revamp Engineering seeks an Electrical Engineer III specializing in Substation Protection & Controls to lead design for renewables interconnections. You will develop SLDs, three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and wiring diagrams, translating interconnection requirements into buildable deliverables.

This hands-on role requires strong engineering judgment, independence, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within an employee‑owned culture driving the clean-energy transition.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or greater in a related engineering discipline; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years of substation Protection & Control design experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD, including AutoCAD Electrical, for production drawings.
• Experience developing SLDs, 3-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Independent, with strong judgment and client-facing communication.
• Knowledge of protection philosophies and HV substation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop protection & control design packages for renewable energy substations.
• Design SLDs, 3-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and relay layouts.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Review subconsultant deliverables for quality and schedule alignment.
• Support client interactions and present design assumptions.
• Produce high-quality AutoCAD Electrical and SDS drawings.
