Job summary

R.E. Warner and Associates, Inc. seeks a driven Substation Project Manager to lead complex substation projects for utility and energy clients in North Olmsted, OH. You will guide multi-phase projects from concept through commissioning, managing scope, schedule, and budget while directing multidisciplinary teams.

The role demands engineering expertise, strong communication, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. PE licensure is preferred and travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in substation engineering/design/consulting.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-complexity substation projects from concept through commissioning.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and engineering oversight.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop proposals, resource allocation, and broader business development insights.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to NEC/NESC and safety standards.
