Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks a Principal Quality Engineer to lead technical consulting and engineering efforts on multiple substation project orders from Warrendale, PA.

The role combines design leadership, data analysis and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering teams. Responsibilities include establishing performance standards, guiding project engineers, and providing input on development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, plus a minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Expertise in substation theory, application, subsystems, field installation and testing.
• Proficient with MS Office, CAD, and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement engineering facets of substation projects.
• Compile and analyze data to establish performance standards.
• Provide engineering leadership and be the primary contact for design issues.
• Lead significant design projects and coordinate with other groups.
• Provide technical consultation to engineering and other divisions.
• Prepare engineering time and manpower estimates for proposals and orders.
• Represent the company to customers and technical societies.
