Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, plus a minimum of 10 year’s of experience in a project related environment.
• Expertise in substation theory, application, subsystems, field installation and testing.
• Computer experience, with emphasis on MSOffice products, CAD and engineering analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement engineering facets of substation projects.
• Analyze data to establish performance standards for equipment and verify design meets specs.
• Provide engineering leadership as primary contact for design issues identified by other groups and divisions.
• Lead significant design projects with cross-group coordination.
• Provide technical consultation to engineering and other groups.
• Review development programs and provide input on planning and task scope.
