About The Role

We’re looking for a Sr. Substation Project Engineer for a 1‑year contract assignment (W‑2) on behalf of our client. The Engineering & Construction Team seeks an experienced engineer to manage renewable generation substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning.

The contractor will lead a team of engineers and technical specialists, provide project direction, and report to the onsite manager. Travel between worksites and other locations is essential, and a valid driver’s license is required. The position is remote with some travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
• Conduct project meetings and perform project tracking and analysis.
• Identify challenges, develop measures, validate results, and implement solutions.
• Provide information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues.
• Competitively source, select, and contract geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services; support the E&C Cost Estimating Team with scope assumptions.

The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $55.00/hr to $60.00/hr.
