HDR is hiring an experienced Physical Substation Engineer to join our growing Power Delivery team in Florida, with the Orlando office as the primary location and options in Tampa or Miami.

The role focuses on leading technical deliverables for substation design, including one‑line diagrams, general arrangements, grounding, and protection studies, while supporting multi‑disciplinary projects, mentoring junior staff, and engaging clients to deliver world‑class services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant substation experience in power delivery.

Responsabilités

• Execute technical aspects and deliverables of substation projects.
• Prepare and review one-line, general arrangement, grounding, and protection studies.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate quality control reviews with team members.
• Engage with clients to align project objectives and deliverables.
