Qualifications

• 7+ years in substation physical design within utilities or the energy sector.
• PE required; in lieu of PE, 2 additional years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate designs of high-voltage electrical substation components.
• Prepare construction drawing packages for bids.
• Perform quality reviews of electrical engineering work.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Skills

Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

Professional Engineer (PE) license required
