Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Substation Physical Designer for our Hailey, ID office. You will deliver technical design and CADD support for substation projects within the Power Delivery team, contributing to accurate, compliant, and project-ready designs.

You will use AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Inventor to create detailed drawings, layouts, and BOMs, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 9 years of post-education drafting/design experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and CADD support for substation projects.
• Draft physical and civil layout drawings and electrical schematics.
• Prepare detailed substation drawings, equipment layouts, and BOMs.
