Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Principal Engineer Substation for a 1-year contract (W-2). You will manage substation projects from conception (Early Stage) through construction and commissioning (Execution).

Location: Remote with some travel within North America. Responsibilities include coordinating with ISC, E&C groups, and Legal for regulatory filings, and supporting estimating and procurement activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in substation design and engineering of high-voltage projects.
• Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience.
• PMP and/or P.E. in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Secure engineering resources and manage scope of work and bids through ISC.
• Coordinate with project teams to develop substation sites and support design/build efforts.
• Source and contract geotechnical, survey, engineering, and construction services; assist E&C cost estimating.
