This remote role involves overseeing projects from conception to commissioning, with responsibilities including coordination of external engineers, scope creation, and commissioning support.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits through WECTEC Staffing Services, with a base salary range described as $65.00/hr to $70.00/hr before taxes.

Qualifications

• Substation projects experience from conception through commissioning.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (IEEE, NESC, ASCE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with interconnection agreements, project specs, site design requirements and industry codes.
• Source engineering resources by defining scope, bidding, evaluating and awarding work via ISC.
• Coordinate with project team to secure substation site, updates, data and permits.
• Assist Transmission Services with system impact, facility and harmonic studies and interconnection agreements.
• Assist ISC with scope of work creation and procurement processes for engineering services and materials.
• Support commissioning activities to meet corporate goals.
