Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a Senior Substation Engineer with 15+ years of experience to lead a Substation Engineering team for renewable energy projects. This 1-year contract is based in Juno Beach, FL with remote work options.

You will manage projects from conception through construction and commissioning, coordinate with suppliers, and support E&C estimating, SOWs, and regulatory filings while ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience
• Substation design through construction experience
• Regulatory filings and hearings experience

Responsibilities

• Lead substation projects from conception to commissioning
• Coordinate with ISC and suppliers for scope and bids
• Manage long lead material orders
• Support E&C Estimating with template updates
• Prepare SOWs and shopping carts for engineering services and materials
• Liaise with transmission owners/ISOs to meet off-taker requirements
