Job summary

MPI seeks a Substation Engineer to work on high-voltage substation projects up to 500 kV. You will develop and review drawings, calculations, and technical docs while coordinating with civil, structural, and protection teams.

The successful candidate has 5+ years in substation engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation, and strong client-facing communication. Travel to client sites is occasional; hybrid work arrangements are possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least five years of experience in substation or power-delivery engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering for high-voltage substation projects up to 500 kV.
• Develop and review drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline teams and review vendor submittals.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and support project execution.
