Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Substation Senior Engineer for our Phoenix, AZ office.

You will configure and produce engineering drawings for electro-mechanical and microprocessor protection relay systems in HV substations, supporting design from concept to final delivery. The role requires a BSEE with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong background in power system protection and control, and proven team leadership with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BSEE degree required.
• 5+ years' experience specifying, configuring and producing drawings for electro-mechanical and microprocessor protection relay systems in HV substations.
• Proven team management and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce one-line, three-line, schematic and wiring diagrams for HV substations.
• Configure and produce engineering drawings for installation and commissioning of protection relay systems.
• Assist in education and training of less experienced staff; occasional travel may be required.
