EDFps is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer in the San Diego, CA area to lead the full lifecycle of substation design for renewable projects across North America.

You will drive technical leadership on protection and control, major equipment specs, and electrical studies, while coordinating with internal teams and external resources to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in substation design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
• Strong command of codes and standards in the industry.

Responsabilidades

• Lead substation and HV engineering design for projects across NA.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve design issues during execution.
• Develop design criteria, SLDs, and electrical studies.
• Coordinate external resources and review HV equipment specs.
• Collaborate with construction and O&M on lessons learned.
