Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer for Substation projects with hybrid work options. You will support diverse substation design tasks up to high voltages, develop protection and control deliverables, and prepare BOMs for procurement and construction.

Qualifications

• High voltage substation design experience preferred (physical and/or protection & controls).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering. Minimum 1 year related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Continues to learn and stay current on design guides, standards, and BV policies.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables and performs calculations following standard methods.
• Coordinate with project leadership and other disciplines; mentor entry level professionals.
• Assist with business development or pursuit activities.
