Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7 to 10 years of post‑education experience in substation design for power generation/transmission.
• Professional Engineer License required.
• Extensive knowledge of substation design and related disciplines.
• Experience with planning, design, and construction management of electrical substations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level technical guidance for substation design and procurement packages.
• Coordinate and review electrical infrastructure design plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Apply advanced electrical engineering techniques across project phases from concept to construction.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings and recommendations.
• Lead cross‑functional teams and manage budgets, schedules, and scope across projects.
• Ensure safety, QA/QC, and adherence to industry standards on all design activities.
