Job summary

Qualifications

• Must perform rigorous physical labor.
• Must be capable of climbing and working at heights up to 60 feet.
• CDL required or must be able to obtain.
• Must supply own hand tools and safety-toed boots.
• Must be capable of lifting over 50 lbs.
• Must travel up to 90% for projects.
• Knowledge of substation electrical drawings and schematics.
• Basic meter/megger/voltmeter knowledge.
• Ability to terminate and ground control cables.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot substation electrical equipment and systems.
• Work with circuit breakers, transformers, control panels, and cable trays.
• Maintain company vehicles, test equipment and tools.
• Work safely in confined spaces and elevated areas.
• Adapt to long hours or overtime during emergencies.
