Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or engineering technology.
• 8–20+ years of testing and commissioning experience.
• Experience with protection relays, SCADA/RTU, and substation equipment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Review specs and drawings to understand substation functions.
• Manage installation and commissioning with subcontractors and customers.
• Develop test procedures and sign-off sheets for equipment.
• Lead field crews during critical testing and energization.
• Mentor junior engineers/technicians.
• Ensure safety and adherence to design limits.
