Job summary
Placements24 seeks a Senior Subsea Production Engineer to lead design, installation, and operation of offshore subsea systems in East London, ZA. You will oversee projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage asset integrity in a demanding offshore environment.
The role requires 8+ years in subsea engineering, strong hydraulics and materials knowledge, and ability to work on-site with contractors and vendors. Attractive package and development opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive subsea engineering experience in Oil & Gas with offshore exposure.
- Experience with subsea equipment design, manufacturing, installation and operation (trees, manifolds, RPTs, SURF).
- Strong knowledge of subsea hydraulics, controls and structural integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineer and specify subsea production equipment and systems.
- Develop and execute subsea installation and commissioning plans.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of subsea production facilities.
- Conduct integrity management and risk assessments for subsea assets.
- Troubleshoot subsea system issues and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with API, ISO and other standards.
