Job summary

Strategic Comp, a unit of Great American Insurance Group, is hiring a Senior Subrogation Specialist for remote work anywhere in the continental United States. You will identify and pursue workers’ compensation and commercial auto subrogation opportunities, collaborating with claims teams, counsel, and insureds to maximize recoveries.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of multi-jurisdictional subrogation experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of commercial subrogation experience
• Experience negotiating complex subrogation recoveries with attorneys and multiple stakeholders
• Multi-jurisdictional subrogation experience is required/plus

Responsibilities

• Investigate workers’ compensation and commercial auto claims to identify subrogation opportunities
• Analyze liability, causation, damages, and recovery potential to develop strategies
• Coordinate with adjusters, attorneys, and experts to maximize recovery across jurisdictions
• Attend mediations and review proceedings as needed to advance recovery opportunities
