Job summary

Chitra Productions, LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist (Submarine HM&E) to support the Naval Sea Logistics Center at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. The ideal candidate will bring a Navy submarine maintenance background and HM&E expertise.

Responsibilities include reviewing maintenance procedures, aiding in fleet issue resolution, and providing technical support for submarine equipment; coordination with Navy personnel and use of SKED, PMS, and 3-M systems are

Qualifications

• Background in U.S. Navy submarine maintenance.
• Familiarity with Navy maintenance policies and procedures.
• Experience with HM&E equipment and systems.
• Proven ability to read engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for submarine HM&E equipment maintenance and repair.
• Review drawings, manuals, specs, and maintenance documentation.
• Evaluate PMS procedures and resolve maintenance issues.
• Apply knowledge of 3-M and PMS systems.
• Coordinate with Navy personnel and repair facilities to address concerns.
• Research technical issues and propose procedure improvements.
• Utilize SKED and Microsoft Office for maintenance-related tasks.
