Job summary

Apogee Global RMS is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician IV to support submarine HM&E systems and antenna components in Norfolk, VA. You will work with Navy maintenance activities, shipyards, and government stakeholders to ensure inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and system readiness.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years in DoD/submarine programs, strong troubleshooting, leadership capabilities, and an active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of prior military, DoD, or related industry experience supporting Submarine HM&E systems maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years of experience providing field engineering support for submarine maintenance programs.
• Experience serving as a group leader with Naval/ government stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in inspection, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of Sail and Towed Antenna systems.
• Active SECRET Security Clearance or ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and field engineering support for Submarine HM&E systems.
• Support inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and system readiness.
• Collaborate with Navy activities, shipyards, and government stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on submarine programs.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with procedures.
