Qualifications

• 7+ years of Purchasing experience.
• 5+ years of subcontracts administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business-related field required.
• Knowledge of legal subcontract language and proven subcontract negotiation skills.
• Strong customer service and business partnership skills; excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across different organizational levels, functions, businesses and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract administration and negotiations to secure best value.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security and stakeholders for approvals.
• Prepare vendor agreements, flow down of prime terms, and document execution.
• Monitor expiring subcontracts and renew/terminate as needed by the business owner.
• Develop negotiation strategies using a risk-based approach.
• Build relationships with internal business owners and external vendors.
• Set up subcontract modifications, funding status, invoicing status, and progress milestones.
