The role focuses on strategizing and overseeing subcontract activities for high-stakes programs with both government and commercial customers. The ideal candidate has a strong background in FAR/DFARS, data rights, and contract terms, with proven leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – or Master’s degree with 6 years of experience including people management.
• Knowledgeable in FAR, DFARS, and corporate flow downs, data rights negotiations, and commercial item determination.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership for a team of subcontract administrators and managers.
• Ensure team compliance with subcontract policies across commercial and government programs.
• Manage development and oversight of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and strategic initiatives to sustain a strong supply base.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on risks and issues to develop mitigation plans.
