Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to purchasing initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
• Hard and fair negotiator who develops suppliers to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares solicitations and ensures responsiveness to vendor and internal needs.
• Identifies contract vehicle types to achieve results and mitigate risk.
• Reviews SOWs and drafts solicitation/subcontract documents with flow-down terms.
• Analyzes requirements and negotiates terms and pricing with vendors.
• Maintains audit-ready subcontract files and complies with policy.
• Identifies compliance issues and proposes solutions for senior staff approval.
• Mentors less experienced staff as requested by the Director.
