You will manage the full lifecycle from acquisition strategy through closeout, collaborating with program management, contracts, engineering, and legal to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in subcontracts, strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, and proven negotiation skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher with years of subcontracts experience.
Experience in defense/aerospace contracting and regulatory flow-downs.
Strong negotiation, risk assessment, and supplier management skills.

Responsibilities

Leads subcontract activities for complex defense/aerospace programs.
Develops subcontract strategies aligned with program objectives and compliance.
Prepares and reviews SOWs, bid packages, and terms for complex procurements.
Leads supplier solicitation, evaluates proposals, and supports source selection.
Performs cost and price analysis across proposals and contracts.
Negotiates pricing, terms, and schedule with suppliers within authority.
Manages awards, administration, and closeout of subcontracts.
Identifies and mitigates subcontractor risks and maintains audit-ready records.
Travel up to 25% as required.
