Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Sr Subcontracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of subcontracting, from solicitation through close-out, including negotiation, compliance, and supplier relationship management.

The role requires deep knowledge of contracting regulations, financial analysis, and leadership to drive high-value agreements and strategic sourcing on a global scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 8+ years of related experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of products.
• EPR/MRP experience.
• Advanced cost-plus contracting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of subcontract management.
• Expertise in government and commercial contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Mastery of contractual and legal frameworks governing subcontracting.
• In-depth understanding of financial analysis, market trends, and strategic sourcing on a global scale.
• Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of subcontracts from solicitation to close-out.
• Develop subcontract agreements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships.
• Oversee high-risk, high-value subcontracts and advise leadership on strategy.
• Lead projects and teams in subcontracting and sourcing activities.
• Provide risk management, schedule and cost oversight.
• Coordinate with leadership and external parties across functions to achieve outcomes.
