Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Sr Subcontracts Manager to oversee the lifecycle of subcontracts from solicitation through close-out, develop agreements, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and other regulations. You will manage high-risk, high-value agreements and lead complex negotiations.

You will drive policy development, strategic sourcing, risk management, and supplier relationships on a global scale, collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to align contracts with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Typically 8+ years of related experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
• EPR/MRP experience
• Advanced cost-plus contracting experience
• Extensive and comprehensive knowledge of subcontract management
• Expertise in government and commercial contracting regulations (e.g., FAR/DFAR)
• Mastery of contractual and legal frameworks governing subcontracting
• In-depth understanding of financial analysis, market trends, and strategic sourcing on a global scale
• Leadership and strategic thinking capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
