Sierra Space is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of complex subcontracts, from solicitation through close-out, ensuring regulatory compliance and favorable terms.

You will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and guide cross-functional teams in subcontracting initiatives while mentoring junior administrators. This is a role for experienced professionals in a mission-driven space and defense company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced understanding of subcontracting strategies and full lifecycle management.
• Expertise in government and commercial contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Strong risk management and dispute resolution techniques.
• Advanced project management and strategic sourcing skills, including negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of subcontracts from solicitation to close-out.
• Develop subcontract agreements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate terms and manage supplier relationships.
• Lead cross-functional teams on subcontracting initiatives and provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Oversee projects for subcontract execution, including risk, schedule, and cost management.
