Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Ohio is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to oversee supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex subcontracts for DoD and commercial programs.

You will lead multifunctional teams, develop subcontract specs, prepare bid packages, conduct conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate terms. Travel to subcontractors or LM sites as needed; strong communication and collaboration required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management: procurement, subcontract management, negotiation, proposals, or category management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements and terms for procurement of materials and services.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences and evaluate proposals.
• Negotiate subcontract provisions and administer changes to subcontracts.
