Job summary

United Launch Alliance, LLC. seeks a skilled Subcontract Management Specialist (SCM-3) to support the Strategic Complex Component Procurement team in Centennial, CO.

The role involves developing subcontract specifications, issuing RFQs/RFPs, negotiating terms, and administering subcontracts to ensure on-time, cost-effective supplier performance. Minimum 4 years of related work experience and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Experience with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Background in Supply Chain processes such as planning, purchasing, inventory management, and/or warehouse operations.
• Experience with SAP ERP System (or similar ERP system).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel for data mining and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of subcontract specifications, work statements, terms and conditions and other technical requirements documents.
• Prepares RFQ/RFP packages, conducts bidders’ conferences, analyzes supplier proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, and administers subcontracts.
• Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions or modifications to subcontracts.
• Coordinates with engineering, quality and finance to mitigate supplier performance risk and resolve supplier issues.
• Briefs executive management and customers regarding subcontract status and cost.
