RTX East Hartford site is seeking a Sr. Subcontract Manager for the F135 program to lead major subcontract activities with Collins Aerospace. You will manage requirements development, negotiations through contract award and execution in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, ensuring program objectives are met.

We require a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in Program Management, Supply Chain and Finance, plus U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of Program Management, Supply Chain and Finance experience is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

The F135 Subcontract Sr. Manager will be responsible for managing activities for our major sub-contractor Collins Aerospace.
This individual will work in a fast pace, highly collaborative environment, from requirements development and negotiations through contract award and execution.
This role will serve as a key interface between program teams, acquisitions, engineering, finance and legal, to ensure requirements are clearly defined, agreements are effectively negotiated, and subcontract performance meets program objectives.
In addition to day-to-day subcontract management, this individual will lead and facilitate process improvement initiatives focused on increasing the efficiency, effectiveness, and integration of subcontract management activities across the organization as required.
