Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to lead complex source selections and contract negotiations. You will mentor SCAs/SCMs and coordinate with SMT, IPTs, and engineers to ensure compliant, timely subcontract execution.

The role requires a US citizenship and active clearance readiness to support classified programs, with responsibilities spanning RFP development, negotiations, and subcontract closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in Subcontract Administration or Subcontract Management
• Experience in management of >$5M subcontracts and experience in negotiation of subcontractors
• Experience in managing a small team of SCAs/SCMs
• US Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and pass drug/background checks

Responsibilities

• Execute RFP development, source selections, negotiations (T&Cs, Price, NDAs) and issue compliant contracts and POs
• Administrate modifications and ensure supplier performance; raise questions as needed
• Delegate to and oversee a team of SCAs/SCMs and handle escalations
• Coordinate with a Subcontract Management Team (SMT) comprised of IPTs, SPMs, and Engineers
• Mentor SCAs and coordinate with senior staff to deliver surge support
