Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking a Senior Subcontract Program Manager to lead subcontract execution across federal space programs, proposals, and supplier relations. This role requires owning subcontractor performance and integrating suppliers into program baselines to ensure cost, schedule, and technical commitments are met.

The ideal candidate will drive risk mitigation, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and collaborate across Programs, Contracts, Finance, Engineering, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in subcontract management, supplier program management, or related government contracting roles.
• Experience managing subcontractors against cost, schedule, technical, contractual, and deliverable requirements.
• Experience supporting federal proposals, SOWs, pricing assumptions, BOEs, and transition to execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor execution across the full program lifecycle including proposal support, award, execution, and closeout.
• Lead subcontractor rhythms: status reviews, action tracking, deliverable tracking, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with approved SOWs, technical requirements, schedules, and reporting.
• Integrate subcontractors into the program baseline with schedule, budget, risks, and commitments.
• Track performance against cost, schedule, technical, quality, and security requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Mission teams on progress, interfaces, and verification planning.
• Support contracts and legal on terms, flowdowns, SDRLs/CDRLs, and closeout documentation.
• Improve proposal-to-execution continuity by carrying commitments and pricing logic into program startup.
