Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Flight Operations Standards & Evaluations Manager in Huntsville, AL, to build and implement sUAS flight and ground operation standards and evaluation processes. You’ll work with engineering, manufacturing, and stakeholders to reflect current capabilities, regulatory requirements, and best practices for safety and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience developing compliance docs, operations manuals, and training programs.
• 5–10 years delivering customer-facing presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Significant DoD customer experience with regulatory understanding.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational standards for sUAS flight and ground operations.
• Ensure alignment of procedures with FAA and DoD regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with FAA and DoD regulations and internal safety requirements.
• Maintain and update operations manuals, training materials, and evaluation documentation.
• Manage pilot, instructor, and ground crew certification programs.
• Conduct flight evaluations and performance assessments.
• Capture and document operational data for after-action reports.
