Job summary

Jobgether seeks a Senior Character Concept Artist to shape stylized characters for game development. You will lead visual exploration, shaping personalities, silhouettes, and color palettes, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to translate artistic direction into production-ready concepts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience as a Character Concept Artist or similar role.
• Portfolio showcasing stylized character design, personality, and storytelling.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, shapes, silhouettes, color theory, and costume design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop or Procreate and ability to translate concepts into 3D assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead visual exploration and development of stylized characters for production.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, 3D artists, Animators, and Game Designers to align with the vision.
• Create thumbnails, sketches, callouts, turnarounds, and production-ready concepts.
• Refine multiple directions and provide clear design documentation for 3D teams.
• Ensure readability and strong silhouettes across different camera distances.
• Maintain a cohesive visual language and contribute to art guidelines.
