Job summary

Impleo is seeking a Character Art Director (Stylized Games | Mobile) to shape the visual identity of an unannounced project. You will guide character development from concepts to in-game implementation, ensuring memorable, expressive designs that meet production needs.

You will collaborate with artists, animators, designers, and leaders across Europe and the United States, driving quality standards and creative excellence in a fully remote role.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of professional game art experience.
• Experience as Character Art Director, Art Director, or Character Art Lead.
• A compelling portfolio of stylized character design and storytelling.
• Strong understanding of character appeal, anatomy, silhouette, color theory.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a cohesive visual vision for stylized characters across production.
• Lead character design from concept to final in-game implementation.
• Provide actionable feedback and mentorship to the character art team.
• Collaborate with animation, design, and tech across international teams.
