Job summary

The Gould School of Law, Office of Undergraduate Law Programs, at the University of Southern California seeks a self-motivated Senior Student Services Advisor to advance recruitment and provide academic advisement to undergraduates pursuing two degrees and multiple minors. Qualifications

• 3 years in a similar or related role
• Knowledge of USC student and academic programs, policies and procedures
• Experience with university's Student Information System (SIS) and advising platforms
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and outreach to a diverse group of prospective students and families
• Provide individual and group academic advisement to undergraduate law students
• Develop expertise in the university's degree requirements and academic policies to ensure accurate advisement
• Maintain a caring, helpful, professional approach to advising students
• Plan and coordinate orientation, registration, exams, and related services
• Make formal presentations to groups of prospective and current USC students and assist with events
• Collaborate with campus partners to support program services and outreach
• Analyse enrollment and program data to inform planning and reporting
